  5. Hi,
What a great site you have created - very informative for both the beginner and the professional.
We at JAS Musicals have a complete new range of standard beginner flutes to concert flutes now stocked from this year. We are distributors of Subash's flutes and also have created our own brand of semi-professional flutes that we would love for you try.
It would be great if you ever get a chance to come down and try out our new selection, or perhaps provide me with an address to send over a sample - your feedback is much appreciated :)
Please feel free to contact me directly on 02079350793 or at info@jas-musicals.com
    Best Wishes,

    1. Hi ,

I am from India and I would like to purchase harshwadhan flute from you . In case you also have flute from different seller do let me know . My email id is npant27@yahoo.co.in and my watsapp no is 95999463666 . I think you might have to add country code of India before the number in watsapp . Please do send the pics of flute and a small video of you playing the same . I will pay the courier charges as well along with flute cost . It would be great if I get a sample flute to try .

      Regards ,

  6. Hi, There is a GAME CHANGING innovation for Bansuris. It's called the R-Key.

It allows you to play the seventh hole with your finger with ease and fits on multiple flute dimensions. The seventh hole can be anywhere on the Bansuri. It comes in two flavors: Left handed and Right Handed. The list of people using it include:

    Apurva Seth
    Steve Gorn
    Josh Geisler
    Rajesh K S
    Igino Brunori
    Virginia Nicoli

It's just being made available on store.igraviton.com. They are shipping it only in the continent of USA for now.

    1. Not sure if it is the same, but eastern vertical flutes have a 7th hole below for thousands of years China, japan...) but they didnt see the need to put one on the horizontal flute. is the idea the same?

  8. Hi:
My name is Peter Westbrook. I have been a student of Hariprasad in India and am now editor of International Flute Journal (www.flutejournal.com). I am in touch with Hariji as well as several of his students to provide information about bansuri for our readers. But I would very much like to co-operate with you on that and share your insights with our readers. We are close to 500,000 page views since inception so we have a lot of traffic.
